Standards development and the certification initiative are separate programs — you can participate in either, or both.
Participate in developing American National Standards within HWASC's accredited scope — vendor credentialing, access controls, competency verification, conformity assessment, and device use-context qualification.
Participation is open to all directly and materially affected parties. Consensus bodies are balanced across interest categories so that no single interest dominates — for BSR/HW1-202X, the five categories listed in the PINS: producer; user; certified individuals and service organizations; conformity assessment bodies; and general interest.
